The BKI Experience & Mission

At Beth Krupa Interiors (BKI) we rely on international experience, design expertise and impeccable integrity to complete projects combining cultures within design for a traveled, collected, timeless interior sanctuary.

At BKI, our goal is to make the design-renovation process a transparent and enjoyable one for our clients. Experience has shown us that knowledge of systemized phases helps clients feel comfortable for the duration of the project.

Here’s how we work:

10 STEP PROCESS simplified in 3 KEY PHASES:

PROJECT INITIATION – PHASE I

STEP 1      Consultation: with Beth and a Design Associate (up to 2 Hours, $750)

STEP 2      Letter of Agreement Written with Scope & Reviewed – Confirmed w/ client, retainer collected & project commencement

RESEARCH, DESIGN, & PRESENTATION – PHASE II

STEP 3      Trades Day: All Sub-Contractors and / or Contractors, Artists, etc to meet, take on-site measurements, photos and discuss final criteria or added scope if any

STEP 4      Design & Documentation: execution of drawings, sourcing goods with visual documentation, sourcing services, and procuring estimates

STEP 5      Presentation Day or Days: visual display of furnishings and materials; presentation of estimates and collection of deposit

PROJECT COORDINATION & FACILITATION – PHASE III

STEP 6      Order Placement: assessment of delivery lead-times, confirmation of each style, fabric, pricing, etc. prior to placement, payment to vendors, facilitation of delivery flow to receiver

STEP 7      Initiation of Construction or Renovation

STEP 8      Furniture Installation, Styling & Client Reveal: Installation day (sometimes days) – our favorite step of the process! For the past few weeks or months all the many items specified have line by line been received, inspected for damages (been repaired or exchanged as needed), are soft wrapped and ready for white glove delivery. Accessories for styling have either been pre-approved and paid for, gathered from the studio, and/or consigned from local retail shops, and brought for approval after the styling

STEP 9      Deficiencies Identified & Resolved: Any and all deficiencies are identified with the client walk-through and resolved in a timely manner

STEP 10    Project Thank You, Completion, & Closure Meeting: presentation client binder with full project materials, before & after photos, care and maintenance detailed instructions, guarantees & warranties, etc.. Review of final invoices with balance of retainer returned or fees collected, reviews and feedback given.
